Potty plot to steal a cooking pot

It was an unusually big cooking pot, with a diameter of about 1m.
Yet Mano Eswara Ponnampalam was bold enough to carry it out of a restaurant through its back door.
The theft, which happened on June 12 this year, was captured by the restaurant's closed-circuit television camera.
Yesterday Mano was fined $700 for stealing the pot. He had earlier made a restitution of $300 to the restaurant.
