Police station assaulted in Xinjiang

A gang of thugs assaulted a local police station in Shache (Yarkant) County in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Monday morning. They threw explosive devices and burned down police cars. Eight of them have been shot dead and one arrested by the local police.

Investigation of the attack is still ongoing.
