Police arrest nine suspects in rioting case

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested nine male suspects, aged between 15 and 41, for their involvement in a rioting case.
A fight between two groups of suspects in a pub at Telok Kurau took place on May 1.
Following investigations, police arrested nine male suspects between May 14 and May 15.
Five of the suspects will be charged in court on Wednesday.
If found guilty, they could face a jail term of up to seven years and be liable to caning.
Investigations against the four remaining suspects are on-going.
