Police arrest man for attempting to steal van

A 53-year-old Chinese man who attempted to steal a van was arrested by the police on Thursday night.
The man had gotten into an unattended van along Race Course Road and was about to drive it away when he was spotted by Mr Vikneshwaran, 28.
It turned out the van that was left running was owned by a relative of Mr Vikneshwaran.
He then approached the man who said he was just trying to move the van as it was blocking his vehicle's way. However, after that the man hurriedly walked away.
