SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 45-year-old man who is believed to have broken into a shop in Bukit Merah Central last Thursday.

Police said they were informed of a break-in at a shop located at Blk 163 Bukit Merah Central, where items such as a VCD player and several VCDs were reported stolen.

Officers from Clementi Police Division conducted follow-up investigations and managed to obtain CCTV footage of the suspect.

They arrested the suspect in the vicinity of Blk 116 Bukit Merah View on Sunday.
