Yesterday, after reading “the Ministry of Manpower takes action against local company who discriminated against Singaporeans”, I felt a big lump in my throat. On the surface, justice seemed to have triumphed over evil. However, as the saying goes, when virtue rises one foot, vice rises ten feet (道高一尺、魔高一丈). Singaporeans, especially the 13 who were unfairly laid off, your country is not there to protect you, you are losers forever.
I do not understand, since the fact of the company’s discrimination against Singaporeans has already been established, why the Ministry of Manpower does not uphold justice by ordering the company to reinstate the 13 Singaporean employees, and repatriate those foreigners who unfairly robbed the Singaporeans of their jobs?

The MOM has merely curbed Prime Gold, the company which discriminated against Singaporean workers, of work pass privileges for 2 years. Is this not really stupid? After all, the act of “discrimination” has been successfully executed, the intended purpose of replacing Singaporeans with their own kind has already been achieved. So, what is 2 years, even 5 or 10 years, or forever? Many companies simply do not need to employ new workers anymore.
