This is what the PM wrote about the Amy Cheong incident ;

"Let us treat this incident for what it is: an isolated case that does not reflect the strength of race relations in Singapore. But it sharply reminds us how easily a few thoughtless words can cause grave offence to many, and undermine our racial and religious harmony," he said.
"Let us all be more mindful of what we say, online and in person, and always uphold the mutual respect and sensitivity that holds our society together,"

This is not an isolated incident. The first time this occurred was when a PSC scholar studying in the States made racists comments about the then President. More such comments have begun appearing in greater frequency including the young terrorist comment about a school bus with Malay kids made by a YPAP member.

And lets not forget that the PM's own father made similar comments in 2011 and the PM had to distance himself from it.

That alone is 4 incidents - PSC scholar, YPAP member, NTUC senior staff and the PM fucking father.

It would have been correct if LHL said it was not statistically significant. Tells you how good his maths is and raises questions on what he really studied.

More racist comments have been made by all races on all races what happens in this case is that only cases where the malays have been insulted by the chinese are brought to attention while those made by malays on chinese are totally ignored.

LHL has lost touch completely with the ground. Let him make a fool of himself

Not forgetting certain commercial organisations which also do not have a certain racial group. So is that racial discrimation in the work force or should MOM intervene in such employment practices to please certain groups.

And what about Choo Wee Khiang's infamous remark during a parliamentary sitting:

"One evening, I drove to Little India and it was in complete darkness but not because there was no light but because there were too many Indians around."

His father's rant was worst than Amy.
Maybe Amy should fight his sacking in court and use LKY case as defence.

PLs post more racist remarks to challenge the PAP.. let's see what the fuck can they do.

Uncle wonders why MediaCorp and SPH paid so much attention to this De Souza guy instead of focusing on the issue itself.
Why make a police report on matters in which you are not directly involved and when others have already taken appropriate action.
“I lived through the racial riots” said De Souza. This is not about himself please.
By the way, whilst he just “live through the riots” this uncle and his medical colleagues were spending our time in the hospital, away from our families saving lives tending to the injured, without breaks!

Why nobody prosecute that old man who said Islam is venonmous?

5. its grand master did blah something bad out too leh.

Silly Loong. Why not be frank and tell everyone what you and your PAP underlings really feel about the Malay-Muslims? ;)

Stop hiding under the skirt of 'racial-religious harmony' and express yourself honestly.

Political correctness vs sincerity: you don't need a high IQ to spot the difference.

Who really said that? Produce evidenceor u shall b sued. Im feeling very traumatic now.

http://asiancorrespondent.com/64203/wikileaks-cable-lee-kuan-yew-calls-islam-a-venomous-religion/

Wikileaks does not lie. However...

However, instead of justifying the controversial term as something that has been taken out of context, his press secretary goes on to deny that Lee has ever said that, probably to avoid any potential public backlash. This makes the issue all the more contentious, because the evidence given is “MFA’s filenote of the meeting” – which we know is highly unreliable since it is a filenote taken on Lee’s side - and thus, there can be no possible corroboration of evidence.

What do you think?

:D Damn funny it's a fact when you have darker skin it's harder to spot you especially in the dark. Tough luck man. In the US this wouldn't even be considered offensive.
