I repost the following under a separate thread

It is really a DISGRACE..., an outright political disaster.

Now from this perspective...PM LHL has brought a minion, a totally unknown figure Roy, on to the world stage with his suit.

Roy will now have the stage to tear deep and make intense probe into the CPF system, on how it has short-changed the entire nation with its low rates compared to the investment returns it received.

PM is not just fighting a suit against a single blogger..(evidenced by the thousands of donors to Roy )

PM is fighting against a Movement, against a Nation who wants to seek justice for a wrong policy.

I think he and his advisors did not see it from this perspective

Roy must never join any political party. Must stay as our son of the neighbourhood to remain untouchable.

"Paper has never ever be able to wrap fire."

Yes.

The movement's message is :

Give us back all OUR hard-earned CPF money at age 55 NOWWWW as per past practice!!

The PM is not fighting a movement against the nation. The numbers speak for themselves. The majority of Singaporeans couldn't give a shit about the case. They have better things to do with their time. The small number that turned up at a rally don't represent the nation. They most certainly don't represent me.

The only movement he has to deal comes from the putrid bowels of a looney fringe minority who are suffering from a severe bout of verbal diarrhea.

These twits need to be dealt with firmly in order to put them in their place. If you look at the photos from the event, you can tell straight away that these are the losers and failures of society who would be in the same pathetic state no matter where they lived in the world.

Ask Roy to dig deeper to expose the secret dealings between CPF and Temasek and GICs.

Singaporeans never find out the truth because we were never persistent.

Ask Economics experts like Lim Chong Yah, Jeyaratnam and Harvard grad Leong Size Hian to support him.

What a showdown. Get all your popcorns ready!

COOL YOUR HEAD BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

Indeed the CPF is a touchy issue, and bringing Roy to court will open the can of worms.

CPF is a touchy issue, but the lump sum ye shalt not touch. Lee is the Lord your God. :D

Yes someone who got it. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. I will repeat pritam's words again. Either the fool fire his pr staff or the people fired him. LHL please make the wrong move

"The majority of Singaporeans don't give a shit"? You got to be kidding me.

Everywhere u go in Singapore, u hear people talking about the CPF issue, be in the office, restaurants, gyms, karaoke lounges, and even in the toilets. People everywhere are cursing at the PAP on this issue. People everywhere speaks of not believing in the PAP at all. People everywhere wants the PAP to account for their CPF monies. People everywhere is fucking the PAP. In fact, u can't avoid a conversation on this issue within a 10 meter radius.

But can blame you for knowing the situation here. You are in the faraway land of The Lord of the Rings living in fantasy.

I know the situation there well enough to tell you that all those curses you hear come from those who, after they've had their fun cursing, will still vote for the PAP.

People curse not because they hate the government. They do so because they think it is cool and fashionable to thumb their noses at authority. It's a false bravado. However, when they stand in front of the ballot box on election day, they remember that all the good things in life come from the PAP.
