I like Scandisk design, but the reviews are all negative.

Now I'm looking at Samsung T7 or Seagate. Samsung T7 has a better design.

Can anyone recommend ?

Do you want the NVMe type, or the SATA one?

WD Black SSD (NVMe type) are quite alright.

Samsung, Corsair or WD should serve you well.

I would avoid Sandisk brand for all kinds of products.

I'm looking for a portable SSD that I can carry around.

I'm going to build a library of piano teaching videos.

I'm not sure if Western Digital is a reliable brand; Seagate, too. These 2 brands are cheaper.

Then get one of those Samsung Evo SSDs. You might need to buy a SATA-USB adapter cable.
