Piyush Gupta is new DBS CEO

CITIBANKER Piyush Gupta, who is currently the bank's South-east Asia Pacific CEO, has been appointed the new CEO of DBS Group Holdings, sources told The Straits Times.
His appointment has been announced to bank staff internally and a public announcement is expected later on Tuesday.
Mr Gupta will fill the position left vacant by former CEO Richard Stanley's death earlier this year.
Sources said he will start at DBS in November and he is in the process of applying for Singapore citizenship.
