The Filipino 'race' is defined more by its cultural characteristics than its physical attributes. Because of its geography and history, the people who live in what is now the Philippines have ancestors from;
the archipelago itself,
the Malay archipelago (some would say these are the same),
China,
the Pacific islands, including Melanesia, Micronesia, Polynesia
Spain,
Portugal,
Japan,
India,
the US,
South America.
It does not make a lot of sense therefore to talk about a 'pure' Filipino race in the physical sense because there isn't one. In the same way, and I know many here won't like to read this, there isn't a Chinese race in the physical sense. Chinese people do have very distinct cultures (note the plural) but physically, we are the result of the settlement of peoples from the tribal regions in Southeast Asia, the deserts north and west of Beijing, and the Himalayas.
Some of the most famous Chinese do not in fact have typically Chinese features, e.g.,
Zheng He, who was in fact Hui but culturally Han;
Justice Bao.
Even today, we can observe clearly that many of the recent immigrants from Northern China have different features from us whose ancestors came from southern China.
