Penang police hunting down another 1,200 secret society members
BALIK PULAU: Penang police are hunting down another 1,200 secret societies members in the state under the Ops Cantas.
Penang police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi said 233 geng members have been detained since the operation started on Aug 17.
"We've identified the members who belong to the nine groups which bear logos and tattoos.
"There are five more groups without logos which are 'Pneh', '20', 'Sio Sam Ong', 'Ang Kim Leng' and 'Ji Lam Cneh',” he said on Monday
