PEASANTPORE: Additional losses incurred by public transport cartel operators because of the Wuhan Plague outbreak are not "adequately covered" by current fares and will "eventually have to be borne by for profit cartel operators and bailed out by taxpayers (aka stupid local peasants)", said Minion for Transport Penang Laksa on Tuesday (May 5).

In a written reply to a Imperial Court question by Nominated But Not Erected Peasants' Representative Walter Theseira - who had asked about the impact of safe distancing on public transport services - Penang Laksa said that ridership and fare revenues have plunged while losses have increased during the Wuhan Plague.

Penang Khaw lamented that current ridership has dropped by 75 per cent for buses and 84 per cent for trains compared with pre-Wuhan levels, while fare revenues have plunged 80 per cent.

"After we reduce services to preserve profits, peasants cry father, cry mother, because of Erections, we no choice. Now our cartel cronies cry father cry mother, so I need to find a way to generate profits for Ho Jinx. The easiest way to to bail out the cartel using tax payers' peanuts. See we Penang people so clever, cunning and devious huh." said Penang Laksa.

Last year SMRT Cartel - which operates four MRT lines - reported its net loss had widened to 155 million peanuts for the financial year ended March 2019, while SBS Cartel flagged in its most recent financial statement that it expected lowered profits from operations and maintenance, particularly for its rail business.

"If our cartels don't generate profits, they don't pay dividends to Ho Jinx, she not happy, Ruler Loong also concerned that Temasick/GIC not doing well, then I also cannot be happy as my KPI is goner. This logic is simple, so the only way is to get the peasants to pay, they unhappy, never mind, 69% always vote for us.," said Penang Laksa.

"Fare hikes are in for sure, only stupid idiots will think our stupid peasants will cycle in our hot and wet tropical weather. We got 69% vote and 92% seats, you see we even cancel Good Friday, fare hikes chicken feed." he quipped.
Profits are theirs, when shit strikes, you help to bail them out, PAP Logic.

So in essence we should help any businesses who have suffered losses as a result of Covid19?

If you're spending billions of dollars to build Circle Line Stage 6 ('close the loop' with three more stations), Wuhan virus or no Wuhan virus, you will forever be incurring losses, and conveniently justify more fare 'revisions'. Maybe that's the plan all along.

Final stage of Circle Line to cost $4.85b
https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/final-stage-of-circle-line-to-cost-485b

The final stage 6 of the Circle Line will cost $1.2 billion per kilometre to build, or five times the average per-km cost of the first five stages.

This means the cost of the 4km stretch, which adds three stations to link Marina Bay to HarbourFront, is expected to be $4.85 billion - more than half what the first five stages cost and exceeds the $3.7 billion projected in 2015.

Penang Laksa explaining why profits are theirs to keep but you must bail out their cartels when shit strikes ....

Our transportation system here is world class. We've already been underpaying since the beginning. It's time we paid more so that PAP can continue to maintain the world class transportation for our comfort.

Transport fares and all other fees are already in the packaged deal we paid into PAP salary. If MRT wants more money, they should approach PAP for it.

What the fuck is he talking about? Which industry is not bleeding?
