SINGAPORE - A 51-year-old man was arrested on Friday (June 15) after he allegedly threatened another driver with a weapon at Woodlands Checkpoint.
He also damaged the driver's car.
Police said they were alerted to a case of possession of an offensive weapon and mischief along Woodlands Checkpoint at about 2.30pm.
The man was arrested in relation to the case, said the police spokesman.
Photos posted on Facebook showed the man holding a covered weapon along the Causeway.
The Straits Times understands that the man cut into the driver's lane and then threatened him.
He then came out of his vehicle with a weapon and damaged the driver's side mirrors.
Police investigations are ongoing.
