A body of a 54-year-old woman was found in a drain at the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal on Friday (25 Nov), and police have classified the case as murder.
After receiving a call for assistance at 9.44am, police found the woman lying motionless in a drain behind a substation at the terminal. Paramedics on the scene pronounced her dead at 10:39am.
Yahoo Singapore understands that the deceased worked as a cleaner at the ferry terminal. She had injuries on her neck and bruises on her stomach.
Police investigations are ongoing.
