Passenger dies on flight from China to Christchurch

A passenger has died on a flight from China to Christchurch.
Police were notified the passenger had suffered a medical event and died about 4.30pm on Sunday, a spokeswoman said.
The plane was still in the air at the time but had since landed, she said. Police responded and went to Christchurch International Airport.
Police were not able to say what flight the passenger was on, however the airport website shows just one international arrival from China on Sunday afternoon, a China Southern flight from Guangzhou which landed at 5.13pm.
