Chitchat Parliament: Singapore draws the line on teachings that seek to divide society along religious lines

Law and Home Affairs Minister K. Shanmugan, speaking in Parliament on the banning of three foreign Islamic preachers last year, says it is neither automatic nor a right - but a privilege - for foreigners who want to enter Singapore.

"It will only be granted if we assess that his entry will not harm Singapore’s interests," he adds.
