Parent whose son jumped to his death after being arrested by CNB officers writes to Law Minister K. Shanmugam

Much better to get the son's ghost to haunt that Indian snake.

Elites and their Kids are treated differently in drug related offences. Past cases glaring sight, blackie will not bothered to entertain peasants.

Parents needs to learn to bear responsibility.
Their negligence and or lack of care , attention towards child contributed to it.

Well written letter. But parents are always guilty of thinking their child is the best. Fact is the boy was a rascal, became a druggie, then turned into a basket mental case when the law caught up with him. He would've been a burden and a menace to society in due time. Not an entirely bad thing now that he is gone.

As much as I pity the parents for the tragic loss of their beloved son, I think it's abit ridiculous to pin the blame on the enforcement officers and accusing them of indirectly causing his son's death. I must say it's poor parenting and probably the parent's lack of guidance towards the son in the first place that resulted in the boy meddling with drugs and mixing with bad company. I must say the late son was probably a softie. During my school days, boys who were arrested and charged by the police for rioting, being a SS member, these chaps would regard the charges brought against them as some sort of a badge of honour. For them being under police investigation for a crime was very cool and a good way to brag to the girls that they met. Some continued a life of crime even after NS. Some changed for the better and are doing well in life now.
