Serious PAP Tarnishes The Military

Look at how USA honours their military. Look at how proud the US Govt and Americans have for the US Army, US Navy, US Air Force, US Marines. Because of this honour, Americans are proud to serve in the US Military and even die for their country.

You can see this military pride in today's Donald Trump's inauguration.

Contrast this to what the PAP has done to the SAF. Singaporeans despise the SAF. Singaporeans shun soldiering and call regulars "tan-kiak-peng", a derogatory remark!

This is because SAF has tarnished the SAF. This is because of useless paper generals who are not worth their ranks and dont carry their weights.

That's why I say PAP has tarnished and destroyed the credibility of the SAF. Instead of professional soldiers, the PAP has promoted yes-men to be paper generals and compelled all unwilling SG guys to serve the saf. This is the fastest route to destruction

US military pride comes from decades, indeed centuries, of battlefield experiences. Many of their feats have probable been criticised here and elsewhere, where it fits the slant of the writer. Give me tiger generals and half a century of no wars anytime.
