PAP Should Not Play Politics When Our Lives and Health Are At Stake

Typical useless oppo idiot. He's been around for eons but makes zero headway in politics. Good only at getting arrested by pulling childish stunts.
He accuses the PAP of playing politics when he's the one making this a political issue by producing this dumb video in the first place.
The lives of Singaporeans depends a lot more on retaining the ability to put food on the table than on how the coronavirus is dealt with. The government of the day has to balance all factors when dealing with any issue. The strategy for dealing with Covid-19 is not a single faceted . It is about balancing competing needs and the correct balance needs to be achieved in order for a country to function.
Shutting down the whole country to deal with covid-19 deaths is like shutting down all the roads in Singapore to prevent the 120 deaths per year that traffic accidents cause.
If we stopped all cars, buses, trucks, motorbikes, bicycles, PMDs from operating 120 deaths per year would drop to 10 or 20 consisting mainly of people slipping on a banana skin. Is the reduction of 100 deaths worth killing the economy for? The answer is obvious.

KNN boss if pap know in advance there will be 120 road deaths per year they should either
1. Penalised heavily those road offenders before it occurs KNN
2. Find the correct way to prevent it from happening KNN if cannot find the correct way they should shut down all the roads because this 120 are human lifes as precious as their own lifes regardless of status and success levels KNN
They should not let it happen KNN so reference to this covid case pap should be following the above rule KNN csj is just pointing out their mistakes and make it known KNN
The PAP is working hard to reduce the number of road deaths and they have actually done a very good job.
They've done it in a systematic way using the methods that you suggested. They did not shut down the economy to eliminate the deaths overnight. The figure used to be almost double what it is now.
