PAP must not win Punggol East.
Otherwise, they will think they have the mandate to do whatever they want.
They are still bringing in over one hundred thousand foreigners into Singapore last year, and God know how many are converted to PRs and Singaporeans. If your wage has not been reduced or you have not been displace by a cheap foreign worker or talent yet, it will soon like many low paying jobs and also PMET. Don’t wait until it happens then it will be too late.
They have policies that cause property prices to rise and ordinary folks have to take 30 year-loan to buy a small so called subsidized flat while a PAP minister can afford to buy one decent size condo unit every 2 years with their million dollars pay.
As a government, PAP did not build enough MRT and road to meet the increasing demand. Yet they reduce COE supply resulting in small car category COE exceeding $90,000, resulting in more people turning to public transport which is already overcrowded and break down frequently. Don’t be distracted or wow at the recently announced MRT system in year 2030. If they are in power, they can always scrap or delay the projects. They have stopped and reduced building flats and selling land for housing, and the Circle line launch date was delayed.
PAP is not that efficient and competent afterall even with a compliant civil service whose subservience is obtained through high pays and potential induction into political offices.
