Many Singaporeans know that Malaysian and Singaporeans were like brothers and sisters. Many Singaporeans (malaysian new citizens or at least 10% of population ) have relatives or family staying at both side of he causeway. Most of them were probably supporters of PAP in GE2011.
When they saw their brothers/sisters/father,mother,children or close friends suffered under the BN rule, they all hoped that BN can be toppled. Unfortunately BN has cheated its way to false victory as evidence by several videos and photos circulating all over the world that caught obama's attention. The malaysian anguish was too great to ignore as protest rally mount beyond control....
Unfortunately, PAP LHL's backside was itchy, he was probably the first to congratulate BN immediately after the final result were out. Such "thoughtless formality" have got into the nerves of his supporters. In GE2016, when BN continue to shamelessly rule the country with questionable legimacy, people will not forgive PAP for subscribing to BN's corruption. PAP will fall with its 60% votes eroded subtantially for being seen to support BN.
