The Alternative View, Low Thia Kiang also claimed that no one bid for the tender therefore they had to give it to FMSS. However Law Minister Shanmugum refuted his claim saying there was already an Managing Agent in place for Aljunied GRC when WP took over in 2011 and there wasn't a need to start afresh as the contract will only end in 2013!

So the right now, it is either WP is lying through their teeth about no bids or no one wants to work with WP since their accounts are in a mess? What do you think?

Which is why the biggest employer via the GLC/GIC is the PAP govt. He who controls the 'spice' (economy) has a strangle hold on power in the country. Everybody's rice bowl is under threat in SG if they are connected with the opposition.

If the opposition gives up the idea of gaining political power via the ballot box because of this, the only alternative to getting power is even more frightening; "BLOOD SHED"????

What a moron! Someone in his own party actually proclaimed to the public at large that the transition from PAP-held Aljunied GRC to the WP would be a smooth one but events have proven otherwise. So what there was an existing MA whose contract will run out only in 2013. They serve the PAP's interests first and foremost and most probably also "kakilang". WP and only WP alone can decide what is in their best interests. No need for unsolicited advice especially when it is loaded with barbs and poison ivy! lol. Another great ministerial statement!

Is someone having a memory loss? When WP won Aljunied, the MA, CPG terminated their contract with ATC immediately, in the same year 2011 and not willing to serve until 2013. Such a glaring piece of info fresh in our minds and people think we have forgotten.

PAP need not use threats or intimidate any biz entity. Most will kuai kuai, out of self fear stay far away from doing biz with the opposition.

In the past, some hotels even rejected opposition parties when they needed to use hotel facilities. Doing business with PAP cant be wrong. Lots of lucrative contracts will come.

We must be the only first world country with this scenario.
