During my time the PAP was so poor that they didn't provide us with cutlery or mug. These items NS men had to bring from home. We also had to provide other items such as brown paper that we used to line our cupboards. , sponges for helmets, rubber band to hold the hejmet camouflage, elastic to hold up our pants,....

call me an uglylose, but i'm fucking godless hor, but current NS is easy loh.

i got less than that when i was a corporal. and my father was unemployed for a few years during that time.

fucking cookhouse food supposed to cost us like 14 dollah(now 18 dollah?) tax money PER meal. for that money, they give us cheap syrup to drink, and pluck the fruits from nearby trees.

i slept on a queen size bed when in tekong, my father sleep in double bed.

the cookhousefood was tasteless, but i was getting at least 1000 more calories than my father. i preferred combat rations. at least they not tasteless. and fruitbars are always nice.
