The NTUC and the SAF are the two legs on which the PAP regime stands on. It replenishes its ranks with many people from the NTUC and the SAF. And barring unforeseen circumstances, those people tend to have the fastest path to becoming full ministers.

sounds like a self-serving career path. it crashes with the purposes of serving the nation. This cult or culture of being a minister is very toxic. very low frequency.
