i heard instead of expensive japanese parts, they start using PRC parts. MRT want the cheapest workers and cheapest parts.

Heard that not only the spare parts are purchased from China, some of those new batch of new trains are also made in China.

That could be the reason why we are experiencing such a "Bumpy ride" these days.
The journey is no longer that stable and smooth compared to many years back.

Yes it should be. But the TS is an accidental wit. Bad , worse, worst. In effect saying we have gone straight to the bottom of the pit (worst) without any stops on the way (worse).

I suppose if his one million dollar salary is paid in installments over five years, he would be more eager to fix things quickly. A lot of padding in that time frame. Suspect he isn't sure if he has covered all bases when it comes to infrastructure investments and maintenance regime.

He will take 1,000,000 in one installment, then wayang all the way for the next free payment, for the 60% approved his salary & enjoyed the show. The do not mind paying for it....are just LOVING IT!
