It is about the time the Opposition question the integrity of the election.
How could an election be fair when the Elections Department reports to the PM?
Why can't the Election Department release the count result after each ballot box is counted?
The Elections Department should explain how they ensure the election is carried out fairly. Were candidates and/or agent invited to check each ballot box and witness the sealing and then accompany the box throughout the election?
Opposition should demand that the Election Department be independent of the government. Future elections must have foreign observer and independent polling result be released on cooling day. Exit polls must be taken.
Victory was stolen from the Opposition.
