If you look the usual suspects who are 'sent' to SMC wards, you will realise it is a joke.

Most of the blokes and lassies sent to SMC are in the same league with Ugly Lui and will make Tinpot Ling looked like a Cinderella. None of them is known to have the EQ and IQ of Nicole Seah but due to 'patronage' and seniority, we see them parachuted to the choice locations.

To send baboons to SMC is to make the regime happy. From the ugly and inept looks of the state dissenters, it is possible none of them will knock the regime's lackeys. Nicole Seah will have been a worthy match for the Lehman Brother Teo or arrogant Charles Lesser Mortal Song.

Opposition has gone "All in" The message asked of Singaporeans is if they want to throw away this golden chance to have an effective voice in Parliamnent speaking out for them this round. They, the Opposition I'm sure were as caught off guard as the PAP by the popularity of Miss Nicole Seah. That popularity, to me is a manifestation of the hopes and frustration in the hearts of Singaporeans other than those cronies of the PAP regime.

NSP send their top dog to the SMC. If you take a look at his face, it looks like one of the those horny peasant uncle that you see prowling in Geylang. In terms of looks, only Ugly Lui is his match. Alas, it seems the opposition is full of patronage and seniority that will balk younger promising peasants.

On hindsight, I agree that putting Nicole in an SMC is a win win situation but the die has been cast, so no turning back. With MM making threats against the Aljunied GRC and the fact that there are only 57% of true born Singaporean voters, it may be too late. It is possible we already lost the war before it even began.

Why not send in Ris Low? She is more well-known and famous than Nicole!
