Kenneth J's rebuttal is the best I have seen on the budget, especially his allegations of slush funds. I think Kenneth himself was a trained economist, so I do give credence to what he says.

Food prices at the coffeeshops had risen by 50 cents, at first it was due to the Chinese New Year, it had became permanent; for water priices will be up by another 30% this year. So far, nobody grumbled.

Yes, they will KPKB all over the coffeeshops & then when it is a critical time for them to vote wisely, they will continue to vote those who screw them daily & KPKB at the coffee shops!. This is an unnatural phenomenon!
