Dear Sir,
The PAP Govt has proclaimed numerous times that there are jobs that Singaporeans don’t want to do. I think it would be good if you could provide a list of these jobs and the wages paid, and maybe we could eyeball and study if there is any truth in that. If not we really don’t know what you are talking about.
I don’t know if you have any real working experience in the open market, but let me share with you a range of existing scenarios when you mass import a foreign population to depress our wages or make us jobless.
Firstly, foreign recruiters prefer to hire their own country people in Singapore, and you get to see xenophobic recruitment and hiring practices. One known reason is because their own native people will cover the ass of their own native people in the workplace, and they tend to speak in their own native language and cluster together, so what integration are we talking about?
Secondly, by mass importing cheap foreign labor, our wages get depressed further. How are we to sustain a family when we are screwed over by the PAP policy?
Do you know the longer we stay jobless, the recruiter might claim we have lost touch and squeeze us even further by giving the jobs to their native people?
Let me ask you a sensible question, do you think Singaporeans like to be jobless and broke?
Thirdly, if we take a low paying job just to get by, how are we to feed our family and how long does it take for us to get a decent salary hike when you flood this country with cheap foreign labor?
Now if you still claim that there are jobs that Singaporeans don’t want to do, then please list them down and state the salary that is being paid for these jobs, please don’t be shy about this.
Let us look at how we can make these jobs attractive.
In conclusion, we have to touch our hearts and ask ourselves a practical question, have we got a Singaporean first system where we take care of our own citizens first or have we got a system that makes the Singaporean depreciate in value and commitment with time.
There are many out there who know what is going on but choose to hide and live in denial that this PAP system works against Singaporeans. I urge you to come to Hong Lim Park with your pla cards and stand in solidarity with our fellow Singaporeans to say “No to 6.9 million”.
Obviously the PAP Govt will ignore our voices as they did in the past. That is why we have this social decay today.
So please have the balls and make it a priority to show up and support our Singaporean cause on 1[SUP]st[/SUP] of May at Hong Lim Park, NS brothers! This is our call of duty, see you there!
Cheers,
.
