Keep them, they are collector's items.

You can show them to your grandchildren.

My parents had kept some relics from the 70s, including the big lion $1 coins.

Which one was the most expensive phone card? $50 or $100 one, must be popular with maids back in the 90s to call back home

Payphones are so rare these days.

Back in those days, you could find payphone (coin or card) booths almost everywhere.

And this orange coin phone is found in all coffeeshops.

this phone can call for free by tapping the cradle :D

i saw 2 good condition working sets at cash converters 2 years back and bought them (think $100 each)....

Gave to a pal as housewarming present and the guy was tickled pink. Kept another for myself but nephew liked it so gave it to him.

if i recall correctly it was put the coin in but depress the cradle slightly then once the other party picks up then instantly release cradle and coin will drop out but call will be connected.

Also the number will not display on it :D

And the most common question asked from these payphones would be "Siang kah pager?"
