1954 the year of the Fajar trial. University of Malaya students accused of sedition against the British government - among them Poh Soo Kai (with handshake) - and Lee Kuan Yew, their junior counsel, meet DN Pritt QC, the senior counsel, at the airport. The government dropped the case and the students were acquitted.

Today Lee has passed away and Poh is still alive, having just penned a hard hitting letter on his one time ally and long term nemesis.

The battle over history is not over and it is not the place of any third party to tell us to move on or keep silent.

What the rest of us should do is to keep our minds open and the issue alive until it is satisfactorily resolved by the two parties.

Then they continue to suffer loh!!!

If they dun help themselves who else can help them?

quite obvious. Stalin's death didn't console those he placed as slaves. The Russian troops who died after the Battle of Berlin didn't bring about comfort for those who they raped. The cycle goes on. Life is like that.
