Office break in New Bridge Road
Some $3,000 were stolen from a health services products company located along New Bridge Road.
Police revealed that they received a call from the company manager - a Chinese man in his 30s - yesterday at 3 in the afternoon.
They were informed that an employee locked up the office on Wednesday at 9:30pm.
When another staff member came into the office the next day at noon, the staff found the rear door forced open.
The employee then found the drawers ransacked and cash stolen.
Police say they will be studying the closed circuit TV footage provided by the company, but declined to comment on how many people were involved in the break-in and theft.
