Just visited one of my kakis under the East Coast plan, I am left thinking hard about what he said.
It’s interesting to note that he received numerous prints from the incumbent, ranging from postcard to flyers and a booklet from PM. Lots of tag lines and graphics, but felt mass produced.
Only one booklet from WP. While it is nice to address the owners by name, the small fonts make it hard for him to read, and the content is very much like some CVs for him to review.
The only question he has is this: is WP ready to form the government? I really don’t know what to say.

I believe taking baby steps to 1/3 is their objective at this juncture. With such a big and powerful pap, they're always being put on the defence. It's fortunate for GE2025, they managed to hentak kaki not go backwards. After 60 years of independence, opposition politics is still in its infancy. Because it's growth has been deliberately stymied. Also, the pap today may not have a monopoly on talent, but they have a monopoly on sinkies' mindset. This is the final nail in the coffin.
So WP is not ready to form the government, it would be a big ask and frankly quite premature to entertain the thought.

Either we entertain more radical policies to jolt this system or to embrace independent candidates in future
