NTU finally breaks links with Nantah

Some wounds run deep. The older generation understands. Have to talk to my uncle again to get some mojo from him.

As if someone can just declare a break just like that?

What about the land it still sits on?....not to mention some of the infrastructures?

If NTU is a business enterprise the share holders are still the Chinese community.Mere change of name doesn't change the ownership.

NTU seems to be a business entity take took over the Nantah business which was bankrupted by LKY in a business merger, but later in a PR move made by that Old FOX, revived the Nantah shell.

Obviously no one told NTU President of this http://enewsletter.ntu.edu.sg/classact/Sep11/Pages/an6.aspx or he don't care - that is historical baggage.

Even in any liquidation of corporate entity,a neutral overseer is appointed. And the assets accounted for. In NTU case, the land--a few hundred acres,is a huge asset. They were donations for a cause.LKY simply robbed the charity box.

Well said! This is one aspect of Nantah history that should never be forgotten!
