Blood drenched man with multiple injuries found at Northpoint Shopping Centre

SINGAPORE - A man was seen with blood drenched clothes at Northpoint Shopping Centre on Friday (Aug 12) afternoon.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it received a call for ambulance assistance at the mall at 1.22pm, and dispatched one ambulance.

A man in his 20s was taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, and the hospital was alerted to be on standby to receive the patient.

The Straits Times understands that he hurt himself, and had multiple injuries.
Photos on social media show the man lying outside the Cantine food court on the third floor of Northpoint. But Kopitiam, which operates Cantine, said that the incident did not happen in the food court.

"He stumbled out of the toilet and collapsed in front of our outlet," said a Kopitiam spokesman.
