according to the exit polls more than 50% of white women and 45% of white men along with 30% of born again-evangelicals voted for obama. a majority of asian-americans and latinos also voted for obama while 98% of all african americans voted for him too.

i dont think you understand the demographics. the US is not an ang moh country. are you accusing the lations, asians, and blacks of being racist?

in the US, people saw the leader first and they voted for him. he just happened to be black. this advanced, enlightened thinking is out of reach for singaporeans or even australians who have many years to go before they can catch up with the US.

A look at the electoral map will answer your question. The entire West Cost, North, Northeast of the US and Florida voted for Obama.

The deep south did not - but looking at the major population centres in Texas for example show Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas all voted for Obama but the rest of the state went for McCain.

The electoral map tells it like it is.

it is not as easy as say Aussieland or canuckland, america has a very unique system, it is family based instead of being skills based. and yet they attract talents all over the world. look at all the nobel prize winners majority from america, but they are not american. east europeans, chinese, indians all congregate there.

anyway best option i guess is to get a H1B, but u need employment first, and obviously they would want to hire a native from an american uni, besides all the indians they take all the H1b's up liao, i had to apply like 1/2 a year in advance last time, its prob worse now.

another option is green card lottery, tt one no need qualification. but ur chances really like toto.

oh another one Eb-5, but u need min 500k usd investment and it might sunset march 2009 next year if Congress dosent extend.

last option, smuggle in and stay as illegal and wait for Obama to grant u amnesty. State police has no legal right to apprehend and deport u only the federals can do that, but they can only issue a warrant if u commit some serious felony like murder or somethinglike tt.. from what i am reading,there will prob be a mass amnesty of some kind under Obama's administration.

I went to three Obama rallies when he came to my city.

Got every race there, White American, African American, Asian American, Hispanics, etc. Jew, purple, green all at Obama rally.

I also vote for Obama, line up for one hour to fill out the four page ballot.

But go to Sarah Palin or McCain rally you see mostly white American or in Palin's case White American Women with people like Elizabeth Hasselbeck for example.

Hasselback is there because she's primarily a Republican, among all the Democrats and independents(which I assume Barbara Walters is). I mean, if its just all Democrats and an independent-leaning Walters, and they all agree with each other, viewers won't watch, and the show would be cancelled.
