Not Halal Abalone...so cannot eat...

Gifting abalone to colleagues.​

Recently my parents bought some stuff at Courts and was given New Moon Abalone as a free gift. However it's not Halal so I decided to give it to my chinese colleagues. When I gave them the abalone, they were shocked like I was giving them something very valuable. I have never tried abalone nor bought them before.

I'm just wondering why they are super delighted getting this can of abalone? Also, why only during CNY?

Canned Abalone obviously doesn't have any pork included. Only dogmatic religious idiots will be scared to eat anything that isn't certified halal. Religion makes people dumb. The more religious a person is, the dumber.

But they want it certified halal by certifying authority from equipment used to fish, farm and manufacture.
Just like @Sustanon kind of SBPSBHJ certification.

That's why halal food is so expensive. The average nasi padang will cost 69% more than the economical chap cai png.
