A 69-year-old Singaporean has filed for a divorce, claiming he has not had sex with the Chinese woman after a year of marriage, reported China Press.
The man, known only as Huang, is also claiming that the woman has refused to pay him rental for a room in his house that she is staying in with her daughter.
The woman in her 40s, had been renting the room from Huang for two years prior to the marriage.
He claimed that instead of sleeping with him, his wife continued to stay in the room with her daughter, so he wanted a divorce.
The woman, however, has refused to separate, saying her husband was a good man who always treated her and her daughter well.
She also claimed she had been taking care of Huang and questioned the need for her to pay rental as the house belonged to her husband.

A 69 year old Singaporean man has filed for a divorce with his PRC wife who is about 20 years younger than him.

The reason that he gave was that he had not had sex with the woman despite getting married over a year ago.

The man had been subletting his flat and renting out a room for extra income.

Three years ago, the PRC woman had moved into the room with her daughter and that is how the two met.

The man like the woman and her daughter and they got married one year ago.

However, after the marriage, the PRC woman continued to live in the separate room with her daughter and did not have sex with her husband.

When her husband wanted a divorce, she refused saying that he was a good man and he always treated her and her daughter well.

When asked to pay rent for the room, she also refused asking why should she pay rent when her husband owns the home.

The Ah Tiong lady is smart. Before marriage, she has to pay rent. With a marriage certificate, she doesn't have to pay rent. Nothing change except for a new status which also guarantees her inheritance when he goes.

The PRC woman is making a tactical mistake. By refusing to let the old man fark her, the old man can annul the marriage on the ground of non-consummation. And she cannot claim alimony because of that.

If she is smart, she should let the old man fark her or at least do a blow job on him right away so that the old can only sue for divorce and not annulment. Although technically blow job is not considered as sex (see Clinton and Lewinksy's case), at least it will muddy the court case.
