NMP scheme gives impression that PAP MPs are nobody but Yes people!

Every GE, primitive local voters rush to read the candidates’ papers.
They still believe in Confucianism.
Only the most educated ones rule. No wonder they remain poor and useless to the ruling tycoons.

Worst, the NMP scheme in order to play down the true Oppo voice has truly embarrassed the PAP MPs outright. You got the 79 of them agree to all policies? Then what for of the shaking hands and greetings during the GE hustings? Win votes for the sake ?

Ask you can, what the PAP MPs at the parliament doing when the NMPs argue tooth and nail for nobody sake becos they are not voted by the people for the people though Istana people may welcome them. The purpose is clear -- to tell the stupid voters you need no true alternative voices at the opera.

Just imagine, you go through a vigorous education, world best, be a brilliant scholar and poached as PAP MPs or ministers or navy officers or police officers or other uniformed groups or secret police group. As soon as you are in, you are as good as a rubber -stamp.

Singapore so tiny, no wonder day in day out, they dwell on the FT and new citizens issue, yeah, you need them to create jobs while the so-called brilliant people live on the soft rice at the expense of taxpayers’ coffers.

Instead of building a private empire, offers employment to locals, help the country sincerely, what else can be done at PAP regime besides struggle to impressing a few ?

So what you do when the buzz is gone, can you know how to serve the people when you are so used to serving a few people.

Touch your heart and balls, which minister ever speaks up vehemently for the people and try to overturn a policy that only benefits the rulers ? They are not trained to do that?

If we cannot see Mr Chaim and Mr Low and Ms Sylvia Lim , with some more good oppo members(let say 20 to 30 of them) after the next GE. Singapore is good as dead.

Which country in the world is so obsessed with FTs and new citizens and menial things like F1, casinos, NDP, sports events ??
These will see us through in a zero-natural -resources island for 100 years to come when you artificially pack the island like sardines?? Six million you want when the elderly people crowd the void decks becos they have no other communal space to move around minus away the alien enclaves ?


Perhaps, in Singapore, we should just forget about Elections if fear to lose power is so intense. Yes, losing power can sometimes mean death sentence ...........

Why not use this forum to showcase the speeches that Mr Chiam and Mr Low gave for the people?

Instead of slamming the PAP and the citizens, why not tell the citizens the good that these two has done.

Then the citizens will also know the good that can be done but are not done by these two.

Perhaps then they can have a better way to vote.


Singapore is not dead; she had moved into inhumane treatment of her own citizens.

But it is up to her own citizens to take care of themselves if the opposition are incompetent to take care of them.

Don't expect the NMPs to take care of you - they represent their respective interest groups and hidden agenda. At least for the opposition, their agenda is clearer - to gain for themselves political power. And in the current climate, possibly material rewards like a couple of millions later on. It is doubtful they will want to reverse such a policy.
