New revelation: Bishan coffeeshop owner is a PAP member

In a suspension notice released on Monday (Jan 16), the National Environment Agency (NEA) said the eating house at Block 511 Bishan Street 13 will have its licence suspended as it had chalked up 16 demerit points over the past year under the agency’s Points Demerit System for main operators.

It received 12 demerit points for two offences of failing to keep its premises free of a rat infestation, and another four points for an offence of failing to deposit refuse in a refuse bin lined with a plastic bag.

Kim San Leng has also been slapped with a total of S$1,100 in fines. http://www.todayonline.com/singapor...ntre-bishan-suspended-day-due-rat-infestation

There goes all the rubbish about private, reservations, book table crap etc. 23 Coffeeshops island wide!!!!! Explains why work permit in the pass was happily given out like cinema tickets. Can you imagine how much he would have gained for the cheap labour. Must be desperate to prevent the squeeze.

Obviously he looking after the PAP grassroots leaders.

Residents of the Bishan should boycott these leeches.

leegitimized cronyism

too many dogs in the area..chased all the cats away

buay swee lah, it is not that grassroots people cannot run business but giving one day penalty for repeated-offencer is not fair.

NEA suspended the roti prata shop at NEX for two weeks for accumulating 12 demerit points within 12 months and fined a total of $800 for the following offences: Failed to keep licensed premises free of cockroach infestation
