Dear TRS,
I want to get some feedback and advice from your readers about the following issue.

On the 10th of October my father drove a off peak car to the court at 9.30am. At 11.30am he paid $20 for the off peak coupon.

However, to his surprise he received a letter from LTA that he was charged for not paying it.

He was told to attend to the court since this is his 4th time.

The last 3 times he did pay also but he key in the wrong date in the machine. He paid 1 day late n was informed by LTA officer that he have to change it in the system. On all occasions he called LTA but still, we was charged for those times.

He appealed the fees and LTA reduced from $500 fine to $300.

After that incident he learnt his lesson and therefore he paid on the same day. Yet he still been charged and the LTA officer said that he did make payment on 10/10/14 but that payment is for 9/10/14.

He told them he did not drive on the 9/10/14 and even showed them proof that he was working on that day.

I requested the LTA officer to show us prove if he drove on the 9/10/14 but he said he don’t have any proof. Their system was unable to capture anything.

We came down today to talk to the investigation officer but he unable to help. I asked him if we are from MP family it will be different and he nodded...i'm very speechless.

We went to see MP but it seems our MP too busy. Every time he is not around when we came.

We really need help. We don’t want to go to court as we know the amount will be very huge. What should we do?
