Peasantpore: After the Hougang by-election defeat, the regime has taken this opportunity to appointed a 13-lackey committee to look into ways of making the fare hike formula work without considering moans from stupid peasants.
The committee comprises usual 'Jiat Leow Bee' Public Transport Council lackeys and other pliant baboons across the island.
The Fare Hike Mechanism Committee is chaired by Senior Lackey Richard Magnus, chairman of the Gambling Regulatory Authority and an inept member of the PTC.
In its statement, the Useless Ministry of Transport outlined the terms of reference for the committee.
The committee will recommend more frequent fare hikes despite prevailing economic conditions to enrich the transport cartels.
The revised fare hike review framework must empower transport cartels to hike fees efficiently without going through the time wasting rubber stamping process adopted by useless PTC. The aim is to make public transport fares expensive so that peasants will walk more. It is expected some older peasants should die faster with less bus rides and more exercise.
The committee will also have to ensure that Temasick continues to collect fat cat dividends so that Ho Jinx can make more high stakes gambles.
In a post on the committee's website, Senior Lackey Magnus said his chums will be working towards a revised fare hike review framework that will let Temasick enjoy more dividends and low-income households should walk more and die faster. The paramount aim is to ensure that public transport cartel remain viable as profitable commercial entities.
He added that finding the right balance is easy as increasing fare hikes quarterly.
Consumers Association of Singapore executive director Lackey Seah Seng Choon, who is also one of the committee members, said: "We recently up wages and are in a Golden Age, and I suppose we want to make sure that the bus cartels make more profits and make Ho Jinx happy. Peasants' interest will always be last and obviously, we will ask peasants to walk more, they faint, they die or get bashed by Panda driven Ferraris, that is their problems."
The current formula takes into account the rigged consumer price index, wage index and productivity from the public transport cartels.
But educated Ape Assoc Prof of Civil Engineering at the NUS, Professor Lee Der-Horng, said the level of service indicator should be missed.
"Since it is going to be a major challenge to this fare review committee to incorporate the level of service rendered by the public transport cartel in this fare formula, just drop it. The reason is we must not make things difficult for transport cartels to make money for Ho Jinx."
MOT said the committee is expected to present its recommendations to the useless Transport Minister, Sailor/No Porn Lui early 2013.
The public can also give their views to the committee at [email protected] or by post by August 12 but warns it will take action against dissenters. This is similar to the old trick used by Butcher Mao during the 'Hundred Flowers' Scam'.
