Me too don't think he is so talented as portrayed by the SPH media! Wrapped him up in a sarong and and singlet, he can jolly well be flipping pratas or frying mee goreng. But now he's the top PR frontman for Singapore Inc.to the whole wide world. It's all about connections! It seems from this thread that Sham is a very unpopular figure. And that he is a real asshole of the 1st degree. However he is holding 2 important portfolios, Law and Foreign Affairs. Surely with such a huge PAP presence in Parleement, surely pinky can appoint someone else to take 1 of the portfolios. Unless PAP is lacking in talent,,or Sham is very loyal to the lees and wont rock the boat like prata man? But can u trust a snake?

I wonder why?
I heard that after RI, he did very well at NUS law school, and appears to be a very good litigator.
However, I do not know whether or not he is that good as an MP, a Minister and politician.
May be those who are on the ground, or met him at a MP's meet the people session, or interacted with him, can tell us.
