Need info. and help regarding unlimited broadband for one month

Hi SBF brothers, I have an overseas friend who will be visiting Singapore soon. He will stay in Singapore for about a month. During his time here in Singapore, he needs to have unlimited internet connection (for his laptop) in order to do his project work.

Since Singnet requires subscribers to sign a contract of 12 or 24 months, what are the other available options for him if he only needs the broadband for one month?

I would appreciate it very much if SBF brothers here can give me info and suggestions. Thanks

I called 1688 and was put on hold for a loooonnnng time..... and I decided to post a question here for help lah.

So, I presume my friend will need to buy a dongle (spelling?) to put the SIM card in, right?

Ok, 7 GB for $30. How long can 7 GB last? One day of average internet connection usage, how many GB used huh?

He can put it in his phone and create his own personal WIFI hotspot.

As for how long 7GB can last that's like asking how long is a piece of string you twit.

If he just does email, read news and a bit of messaging, 7GB can last 6 months or more.

If he downloads hi res porn movies, skypes for hours, uploads hundreds of high megapixel images, 7GB will be gone in half a day.
