and planes flying around is terribly environmentally irresponsible.

And what on earth are they trying to prove with tanks fireworks and what not?

NDP used to be a simple affair, a day to commemorate our independance. now, NDP is a rara-show to; boast our multi-million dollar military toys to neighboring countries, to show the world that our ellite pilots have nothing better to do than to perfect aerobatic performances, to attract more FTs from less developed countries in wanting to become pink IC holders.... etc.

after the millions of dollars spent on the NDP... ppl resume their lives the following day, sweating from the brow. the celebrations, quickly forgotten.
