Four of the seven bodybuilders who tested positive for banned substances last were national champions and will likely be stripped of their titles.
Among the four is the overall winner of the competition and newly-crowned Mr Singapore Shaifulhaq Ahmad Ishak.
Out of the eight bodybuilders tested by Anti-doping Singapore on July 1, only one - bantamweight winner Val Pedrian Lim - passed.
This is not surprising with the President of the Associaion who, two weeks ago, confirmed that he offered advice via emails to bodybuilders on drug use. BUT the rest of the committee members do not see it fit to sack him. Bodybuilders of the same feather flock together?
