He asked me if he is considered as a senior or a pioneer?
He told me that seniors in Singapore will be infected with china virus and eventually die while the pioneers will never die and they will continue to receive pioneer NTUC vouchers and PUB rebates.
My uncle is very confuse and he needs brothers and sisters help.

Merdeka Generation :

• Are a Singaporean born on or between 1 January 1950 and 31 December 1959
• Became a Singapore Citizen on or before 31 December 1996

You are considered a pioneer if you meet the following eligibility criteria:
Aged 16 and above in 1965 - this means you were: Born on or before 31 December 1949. Aged 65 and above in 2014.

But Merdeka is born between 1950 and 1959.

I assumed Seniors is their common denominator.
