据报道，马来西亚政府今年底或明年初，将向新加坡和泰国注册车辆征收25令吉的车辆入境准证费。

星洲网报道，马国交通部长廖中莱在柔佛州新山出席一项活动时，宣布这个消息。

目前，马国政府已经向新加坡注册的车辆，征收20令吉的过路费。随着这项新宣布，新加坡注册车辆在入境马国时，必须缴付总数为45令吉的过路费和车辆入境准证费。

廖中莱表示，当局将在入境关卡安装自动识别系统收取费用，同时获取入境车辆驾驶者的资料，加强保安。

廖中莱说，当局日后也会在同文莱和印度尼西亚边境实施这两项措施，但没有透露具体的时间表。
