My friend's maid is a PR!!!!

I just met my friend this morning for breakfast and I just had to post this here after hearing it from him.

He told me that he saw his previous maid at his neighbourhood just last week. Thinking that she is still here as a maid, he asked if her new employer is staying in the neighbourhood. She replied proudly no but she is staying in the same neighbourhood as my friend. She even said that she is now a PR (foreign talent) and her husband is also a PR so their children will be Singapore Citizen.

The maid apparently, after working here, applied to be an assistant in an old age nursing home. After working for awhile, she applied for PR and was granted. She subsequently managed to get her husband into singapore after getting him a job. He also got his PR very soon. Both of them are now helping some of the maids to obtain jobs here...

Get ready for maid quality foreign talents guys....this is as good as it gets.

Haha...now then you know? There are many PR's working in all fields of work including jobs as maids. There are many service companies servicing hotels, shopping malls and factories that employ hundreds of them. My maid comes twice a week to clean, do laundry and iron our clothes and she is a PR form China.

a PRC fren of mine is a PR who got the PR from his PRC wife.

We must attract these hardworking folks here to take up citizenship.....sinkies are getting too pampered....they need some competition to wake up their ideas.........sinkies also getting ungrateful.......these new immigrants will not be like that.....they will keep the pappies in power for decades to come! Most, if not all, pinoy univs are not recognised here. They are more like kampong/provinces univs.

MOM hv flaws. Many prc, indian,pinoys brought in/sponsor their next-of-kin here for LTV passes.
Many do obligated babysitting/ DH in sponsors' home. Therefore, MOM loses the due levies.
So, Sporeans are being squeeezed by their own govt.
